@Mason.2685 said:Hi everyone!Just I am wondering what is the best profession in PVP you think in the moment.I haven't played GW2 in a wile so I would like to get a research with your opinions.I know this is hard to figure out because people have different play styles and thoughts. Toughest ones for me this far have been:Any type of Ele, core is a good start, weaver is super offensive and tempest can be super challenging if fighting with 1 or 2 more teammates.Firebrand (I always thought of it as a spam-my role and tbh I have a hard time seeing it as a roamer in WvW at least, but it needs plenty of clicking)Revenant, with Shiro to be speficic. Rangers are terrible at ST-like protection builds but can easily outdo a Ritualist in a pure damage SoGM-based build. This is especially true if the player is skillful at placing and timing spirits so they take less spike damage. Rangers can often maintain Communing damage spirits far better than a Ritualist. That leaves pistol, torch, and rifle for elementalist. Out of those, I think the best choices would be first rifle since elementalists do not have a choice of weapons for long range single target damage, and torch so they can equip Rodgort, which shares its name with two elementalist skills in GW1. 3. lovebus. With SOTO, many classes can do 42k+ benchmark now. Below is the list of classes that can do 42k+ (up to 49k) DPS against golem when played by the top players. This does not include multiple classes that could already do 42k+ in the previous patch, most of which likely do more DPS now. There's at least one elite spec per profession on this list. throw-away451. • 10 mo. ago. Guardian is arguably the best profession for leveling in the core maps and definitely one of the very best overall. You have extra damage and healing built into your character through the passive Virtues (Justice, Resolve, Courage) that all Guardians get by default in the first 20 levels. amLPlC. 17 singelingtracks • 10 mo. ago Costs 50 silver to swap crafting professions if you have more the two. So each alt should have two professions swap to the alt to craft. MangaIsekaiWeeb • 10 mo. ago I would say that the most efficient would be to have it all in one character. throw-away451. • 10 mo. ago. Yeah, my idea would be for it to be like FF14, you can have multiple professions on one character, but you still have to level those professions up. My idea was you could switch your active profession in your home instance. When this happens, all your Hero Points will be refunded, so you can then use those hero points to get skills and Each profession has access to three elite specializations, available in the expansions Heart of Your base and maximum movement speed is reduced. Gain access to kneel skills, which have increased projectile velocity. You can still dodge roll while kneeling. Kneeling is canceled if you swap weapons or use Free Action. 5 Free Action: Kneel. Stop kneeling and move freely. If you used at least one kneel skill, gain swiftness.
