The best way to describe it is like watching one of those old youtube tutorials with writing on notepad and copyrighted music playing at 360p resolution. It's servicable but at 720p or 1080p it's much much easier to read. Another good example I could give is Half Life alyx looks phenomenal on a 720p YouTube video. Playing it looks more like 360p.

If you can't afford a $20 headset to play Half-Life: Alyx (or a $250 headset, for that matter), maybe you should do something more financially rewarding with your time than playing video games. #5.
